Nanas Easter Egg Hunt 2009

Fearless Will grabs the first egg of the season from the backyard.

Gus, his high speed older brother moves into action.

Searching for Easter eggs is hard work, especially when you are surrounded by them.

It would seem that all three boys were satisfied by their individual successes. Although at this point there were still eggs loose in the yard.

Dying eggs for Easter is an old family tradition plus they make a good colorful egg salad later in the week.

Let there be no doubt in your mind that Nana also had a great time with some of her grandchildren.

Will is a serious egg dyer. He likes to do projects regardless of what it is.

Here is Will assisting Cheez with the final sanding of a rifle stock going through repairs. Will was seriously working that 600 grit paper.

As you can see everyone is a critic. Here, Beaner is checking the smoothness of the stock to make sure it was done right.

Cute and

Cuter

One final inspection to make sure the stock is ready for the finishing coat of Tung Oil.

This chocolate egg would be even better if not for that stupid foil cover.

There has to be a way to get the foil cover off of these things.

Cute, coy and ready to play Lacrosse.

Have stick, just need a ball and maybe a little motivation.

Into the Treasure Chest we go.

Me too.

I have been waiting all day for someone to open this.

Cheez told Nana years ago to keep all of those Little People Houses, Yeah Cheez.

Lets put some of those Little People in the airplane.

This is called a Toy Roundup. This happens when you herd all the backyard toys back into their hideaways.

Darn I'm cute.

I sure had a lot of fun today. Mom, when are we coming back?
